ABOUT ME

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University. I bring a wealth of experience from diverse therapeutic settings, including inpatient, outpatient, IOP. and community mental health. Currently, I am based out of New York and offer telehealth services through Geek Therapeutics.

A lifelong member of the geek community, my journey began at the age of six with Super Mario Bros. on the Nintendo. Over the years, my geek interests have expanded into MMORPGs (such as FFXIV, World of Warcraft, Path of Exile, Last Epoch, and Diablo IV), tabletop RPGs, Magic: The Gathering, LARPing, sci-fi and anime, cosplay, comic books, music, and building computers. I strive to bring this deep cultural understanding into my clinical work, helping clients feel seen and supported through a shared appreciation of geek culture.

MY THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

I am passionate about supporting adolescent and adult individuals who are navigating a wide range of mental health challenges. I take a personalized and integrative approach to therapy, blending evidence-based practices like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindful-Based, and Solution focused approaches with creative, client-centered modalities. These include therapeutic use of video games, TTRPG’s, and anime, fostering engagement and resonance with clients who benefit from non-traditional supports.
